PROTECTING NUBUCK
Nubuck is a special type of leather and it requires special care since it’s prone to absorb dust particles like a sponge. It is advised to protect your Nubuck jacket with waterproofing and stain-proofing sprays. They’re easily available in the market under different brands select a Nubuck specific spray and you’re good to go. For maximum protection it’s best that you refresh treatment with spray coats every year.
LEATHER PROTECTORS
These are odorless and colorless liquids that can be sprayed directly onto your jackets. These protectors typically save the jacket from water, oil, dirt and any other such material that can leave stains on your jacket.
LEATHER CONDITIONER
Leather conditioners are used to keep leather from drying out or cracking. It is important to check which leather conditioner is suitable for the type of leather used in your jacket specially for nubuck or suede leather.
Ingredients like mink oil, neatsfoot oil and other natural animal oils are ideal conditioners but they tend to darken the leather.
Never use any products that contain mineral oil or petroleum as it will damage your jacket.
Please be advised that there are different types of leather conditioners available for different types of leather. Get one that suits the type your jacket is made with.

My Jacket got wet what should I do?
Each leather type reacts differently to water; aniline leather is water resistant suede is not.

My jacket has got wrinkles; how do I remove them?
It’s highly recommended that you take your jacket to a professional leather cleaner. However, you can try it out yourself by placing a cloth atop your leather jacket and iron it quickly, make sure your iron is not too hot.

Is my jacket waterproof?
It’s water resistant but not waterproof, make sure your leather jacket is not exposed to rain for a long time. Suede and Nubuck absorb water and for that matter they should not be worn in rainy weather.

I'm not going to wear my jacket in the summer where should I store it?
To keep it from permanent damage, put it in a jacket cover when not in use and hang in a place that’s not damp. .

I’ve got dust on my jacket, how do I clean it?
Your jacket may get dusty when left for a while, even in a closet. To keep it from permanent damage, put it in a jacket cover when not in use, especially off season. Clean it using a dry cotton cloth. If it’s a suede leather jacket, use a suede brush to clean it.

I spilled something on my jacket, how do I remove the stains?
If your jacket is covered in mold or gets stained, clean it by using diluted alcohol having water in equal proportions. You can easily do that by dampening a cotton cloth with this mixture and using it to wipe off the mold. If that doesn’t work, you may use a mild germicidal soap mixed with water, wiping off the excess liquid with dry cotton cloth.

My jacket has salt deposits on it, how do I clean it?
During hard and damp winter season, you may find salt deposits appearing on your leather jacket. Wipe these salts off instantly, using a damp cloth, so to avoid any dry spots or cracks on your leather jacket. Don’t forget to apply the conditioner on the affected areas after air drying your jacket.
